2019年11月16日，新偏远地区技术移民签证491正式开始实施，取代原489签证。491签证沿用原489的职业清单，共有504个职业可申请。

注意：ROL列表上的职业只能申请491签证。

MLTSSL列表上的职业既可以申请189签证，也可以申请190签证保和491签证。

STSOL列表上的职业只能申请190签证和491签证。
